HIGHLIGHTS

  • Thank you to 7th grade for helping us celebrate Mass this week. Everyone did really well reading and participating. Congratulations to all of our CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP and A HONOR ROLL students. Great Job!

  • Thank you to all who were able to attend our Parent Meeting last night regarding SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING. A special thanks to Dr. Robert Peters, Mrs. Appelman, and our school Counselor, Micaela Krusemark for overseeing the presentation. Pl

  • The NEW TUITION RATES for 2019-2020 have been approved by the SBS Advisory Council. Please fined the information attached. DON’T FORGET TO REGISTER. THE EARLY BIRD SPECIAL ENDS ON MARCH 18, 2019.

HAPPENINGS

  • Middle School (6th–8th grade) Snowball Dance is fast approaching!  The semi-formal dance will be held at the Knights of Columbus on January 25th from 6-9pm.  Get your tickets today for $10 (pre-order form went home this week).The ticket includes dinner, drinks, photos and dancing.  Want to help support this dance?   Click on the link to see what is still needed to guarantee this will be a memorable night for our kids! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0845A5A928A1FA7-middl

  • Tuesday Night Bites News – Dugg Burger has graciously agreed to host our spirit nights for the remainder of the year.Our next spirit night is January 22nd from 11am to 9pm.  Mark your calendars and spread the word with family, friends and neighbors!

  • Who will win?  We will hold our Chili Cook Off and Bingo Night on Feb 1st.  Guaranteed to be a fun time!  Sign up to bring some chili and/or RSVP at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040D4FADAF283-chili.  Help us build excitement and encourage all your friends to join in!  There will be a prize for the winner of the cook off so you don’t want to miss out!

  • This is a reminder that you may now apply for tuition assistance through FACTS.  

    All of the funds available through the Diocese have been combined under a new name called The Halo Initiative.  They require you to have a completed FACTS application filled out and completed in order to receive any funds.  Please see flyer for deadline dates.  These dates are firm so apply early.  If you need any help with the application please call Guille Luna at the school office. 

  • A reminder from the Parish.  The Parishioner rate is only available for those families who: (1) are Catholic; (2) participate in the sacramental life of the church; (3) have children receive sacramental preparation and the sacraments; (4) are registered as members of St. Bernard’s through the Church office; and (5) support the parish community spiritually and financially with a minimum weekly donation of $20.   • Ready for the Gala?  The date has been set…FRIDAY, APRIL 26 at THE TOWER CLUB DOWNTOWN DALLAS

  • GAME ON… THE SPRING DATE IS SET FOR THE ST. BERNARD COMMUNITY CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT. This year we will play Keeton Park Golf Club on Friday, March 8th.
